New Star Wars Last Jedi Poster/Images is Here… What Does it Mean?!?
The follow-up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the aptly named Last Jedi, is only a few months away and the hype has reached epic levels. With only a teaser trailer released and some still images so far, there’s not a lot to go on in terms of plot and secrets. Beyond that, there have been a multitude of images released thanks to an Entertainment Weekly cover story. Here’s the cover.
Beyond that, there’s an image of Rey at what looks like Luke’s hiding spot from the end of The Force Awakens.
At the end of that Episode 7, John Boyega’s character (Finn) was injured in a lightsaber battle with Kylo Ren. This image shows him with a new character, rumored to be the nurse who will look after him and his gigantic back wound — and the bacta tank/suit he uses to heal.
Speaking of new characters, apparently, the island that Luke is living on is inhabited by alien creatures who are “Force sensitive.” Here they are:
And Chewbacca — sans Han Solo, RIP — with his new buddy:
And finally to the villains. The Last Jedi‘s main baddie — outside of Kylo Ren — is Supreme Leader Snoke. Here are his Praetorian Guard. The look pretty amazing…
… So if you’re looking forward to The Last Jedi, this should hold you over until the next full trailer. With only months to go it has to be coming out soon, so stay tuned to BabbleTop for all things Star Wars (and pop culture, sports, health, lifestyle, etc.)!
